University of Salford lecturer awarded £8,000 after failed root canal treatment
Condition:
Dr Mustafa Alchelabi was experiencing issues with his tooth, however his long term dentist initially advised him against root canal treatment and provided a filling instead.
However, an X-ray revealed significant decay to the tooth that his dentist should have spotted sooner.
His dentist eventually gave him root canal treatment - but it was done so poorly that it needed to be redone, and he will eventually lose that tooth.
