In 2025, cosmetic claims reached their highest average settlement value on record, rising by nearly one-third from last year.
Misdiagnosis claim settlements have more than doubled in the last 2 years.
In the last 5 years orthodontic claims average settlement values have continued to increase consecutively each year, with 2025 seeing the highest record average in settlement value.
2025 became the 5th consecutive year neglect claim types have remained one of the top claims we settle at DLP.
