It’s Big Smiles at DLP for National Smile Month

There are so many reasons in the world for people not to smile, but there also so many reasons why we should: for our family and friends, smiling relieves stress, it has been proven to boost your immune system and it’s infectious. One smile could turn into 100 smiles. The Dental Law Partnership supports National Smile Month every year and will continue to support this campaign for years to come. Helping to spread awareness of taking care of our oral hygiene and encouraging our clients and staff to improve their own personal oral health habits and more importantly to “smile more”.

At The Dental Law Partnership, we have a team of in-house dental experts and experienced dental legal professionals who all share the same passion for spreading awareness, so we can all smile bigger and brighter this summer.

Our team has put together some important messages for helping to maintain your best oral health:

  1. Brush your teeth twice daily.
  2. Don’t just floss when you’ve got food stuck in your teeth! Regular flossing removes plaque that forms along the gum line and can be used a preventative for gum disease.
  3. Ensure you are attending regular dental check-ups, finding issues earlier rather than later could mean they are that much easier to treat.
  4. It’s easier said than done to say, “eat well and live a healthier lifestyle”, but being mindful of your sugar and alcoholic intake is recommended.
  5. It’s never too late to learn the importance of good oral health, in our recent blog we spoke to one of dental experts about this topic and the best practices, read more about it here.

This year, National Smile month runs from 13th May – 13th June 2024, with the theme of “Love your Smile.” For more information, you can visit: http://www.nationalsmilemonth.org/
